Introduction while joining IMM

Having been brought up in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan I got the degree of Matriculation from there and then I joined KIPS college Faisalabad for FSc Pre-Engineering, which triggered my passion for learning mathematics at advance level. Following my interest, I got admission in COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore campus in BS Mathematics for higher education. COMSATS is very renowned for its faculty and Research point of view. So I got benefits from the faculty of COMSATS of the mathematics department. The basic journey began there and I worked hard in every possible way to explore mathematics with the help of outstanding faculty of COMSATS.

As a highly accomplished individual, I’m proud to have earned my Bachelor’s degree with two distinctions.

  1. Campus Gold Medal in BS Mathematics

  2. Chancellor (Institute) Gold Medal in BS Mathematics

And I’m honored to receive my Chancellor gold medal from Dr. Arif Alvi, the President of Pakistan.

Moreover, I have published one impact factor research paper titled as “Lump and rogue wave solutions for the Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt system” in Chinese Journal of Physics with Impact factor 2.638 during my final year project in BS under the kind supervision of Dr. Syed Tahir Raza Rizvi (Assistant Professor at CUI, Lahore campus).

Being COMSIAN I got to know about the IMM program. I never wanted to lose such an exceptional opportunity of further exploring maths under the supervision of the prestigious International faculty. The IMM program mainly focuses on fundamental courses of mathematics so this program is providing us a chance to understand the mathematical concepts more productively and precisely. All the faculty members are very cooperative, and they are always ready to help the students. Now being selected for IMM program I want to give my best in this program so I can prepare myself to do a PhD from an internationally recognized institute. I want to serve my country by sharing the knowledge that I will gain regarding mathematics.

After completing his Master under IMM, he successfully got admission at University of Calabria, Italy.

Her Words on Completing IMM Program

Experience with IMM: IMM is a challenging program, and I think one should have the ability to face the challenges. The first year was quite difficult for me because it takes time to change your study schedules according to international standards for advanced courses. But the cooperation of international faculty members is highly remarkable, as they made it possible to survive in this program with their immense support. I want to highly appreciate the efforts of Prof. Dr. Stefano Luzzatto as he always listened to the problems of each student and tried his best to resolve the issues. Even I had a weekly session for a month with him on "How to think out of the box?”. I also feel privileged to had Prof. Dr. Stefano Luzzatto as my research supervisor for my final year project in IMM. I have learnt a lot from IMM which also reflects on my personality. My overall experience was very pleasant with IMM. As I had not faced any financial issues due to the fellowship provided by IMM so it was a plus point.

Thoughts and Expectations about Future Studies: I got admitted to the Master's Program in University of Calabria in Italy on full Scholarship. I'm really excited and motivated for my future studies. I wanted to devote myself to studies to such an extent to excel in every task and to reach a very higher level. I want to do a Phd from an Internationally recognized institute.

So I recommend everyone to choose IMM if they really want to groom themselves according to International standards and if they want to pursue their education abroad.
